Unbelievable opportunity for an experienced STRATEGIC BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to join a NEW LISP INVESTMENT PLATFORM BUSINESS that has recently been established by a Multi-National Asset Manager.
 
This is one of those rare opportunities where YOU have the chance to be part of a NEW Business but still be supported by a recognised, leading Financial Services Brand.
 
Based in Cape Town (you will have complete flexibility) this BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER role is paying a base of around R650K P/A – excluding QUARTERLY and ANNUAL commission incentives, Cell & 3G Allowance, Entertainment Allowance as well as Travel Reimbursements.
 
The Role:
 
With its industry-first Offshore & Onshore Investment Solutions, this business is supported by elegant & intelligent technology, global partnerships as well LEADERS that are known for driving through transformation in the Investment Industry.
 
Managing and developing a portfolio of IFA’s and Wealth Managers, you will be marketing the portfolio of Offshore and Onshore Investment products whilst playing an active role in designing the overall DISTRIBUTION & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY. 
YOU will be given complete independence to develop and drive through regional business plans that YOU have developed, communicating the STRATEGY into the market and cementing this LISP PLATFORM as an industry favourite.
 
Experience Required:
 
Post Grad in Financial Planning/CFP would be a bonus.
Experience in developing leads & prospects in a sales environment within the Investment industry.
Excellent Investment product technical knowledge - In- depth understating of investment components, product licenses, tax, fiduciary etc.
Very good experience and knowledge of the advice market.
Understanding of all products on offer in the platform Investment industry both local & international.
Exceptional Client Relationship skills - experience dealing with Wealth Managers.
