Job Description

This is a brilliant opportunity for a CATEGORY MANAGEMENT ANALYST (RETAIL/FMCG Category Analyst) to be CLIENT LEAD, servicing FMCG’s in supporting the execution of the customer-loyalty journey through the delivery of first class data insights which helps demonstrates how to gain competitive advantages from applying customer insights and why customer loyalty matters.

Based in CENTURION this role requires experience in FMCG/RETAIL CATEGORY MANAGEMENT and offers a salary of R550K – R650K/annum.

The role is with the GLOBAL CONSUMER INSIGHT, DATA SOLUTIONS & ANALYTICS Leader – an established international business that has driven customer-centricity for the world’s most successful Retailers and FMCG’s.

As CATEGORY MANAGEMENT ANALYST you will operate as a CLIENT LEAD, taking on a portfolio of FMCG’s and helping deliver a seamless and proactive service, working with Solution experts to deliver data solutions that drive unique value.
You will build lasting relationships with FMCG contacts and develops a good understanding of their strategies and objectives to optimise engagements and revenue. This will be done through Insight Solutions including Shopper Insights, analysis & consultancy which drive business decisions in order to create measurable value.
You will be trained by some of the world’s leading Retail/FMCG Analytics and Supplier Engagement specialists, and be supported by a world-class Analytical Insight delivery team.

Degree educated.
Exceptional Data Interpretation skills.
FMCG/Retail Category Management experience.
Pricing & Promotions expertise.
Consultative Approach with great stakeholder management skills.
Ability to deliver Data Insight.
Retailer and FMCG Operations understanding.
Customer Insights knowledge and passionate about consumer loyalty and customer-centric business practice.
Strong commercial and business acumen.
Data Analysis and Modelling skills.
