Based in CAPE TOWN this DIRECT MARKETING MANAGER role offers a salary of R650K – R700K/annum.
This role is with a Global CONSUMER INSIGHT, ANALYTICS & CONSUMER-SCIENCE COMPANY - a leading Global Data Solutions Company driving Customer-Centric Strategy, Consumer Insight Solutions and Direct Marketing Communication programmes for leading Retailers and FMCG’s.
This global Consulting Business has led the way in utilising data to deeply understand human behaviour and thereby enable Retailers to refine their DIRECT MARKETING effectiveness to drive consumer adoption & retention, and to develop a customer-centric business strategy for their clients. The company is a recognised leader in Direct Marketing, CRM, and Consumer Communication solutions.
As part of a Global Data Marketing Communications Team you will develop and deliver a Consumer-Engagement Proposition enabling ever-increasing accuracy and return in Direct Marketing Communications that will help Retailers attract and retain more consumers’.
You will work closely with Retail Stakeholders scoping requirements and translating these back to a technical data management team who will ensure that the right data is acquired, integrated and provided to achieve the Direct Marketing and Campaign goals thereafter – this will be done in conjunction with a Global Product Management Team, helping you to define data requirements, understand data needs and set up data flow into the business.
Strong client-facing skills are required to understand Retailers objectives and to develop those into a Customer/Consumer Communications Proposition, Direct Marketing and CRM strategy.
The proposition you develop will positively impact consumer activity and responsiveness to Marketing Campaigns.
The role provides a great chance to work with other Customer Engagement contacts internationally to learn best practice and new ideas for marketing communications propositions.
Degree educated in Marketing, Advertising, Economics or Management.
Experience in Consumer Rewards/Loyalty, CRM, Direct Marketing and Consumer Communications.
Experience working with and briefing Technical Data Teams – able to articulate Data requirements to meet Direct Marketing / Campaign Management needs.
A strong Consumer Direct Marketing background.
Retail and consumer goods experience is preferable.
