This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated DESKTOP SUPPORT ENGINEER to support all business levels at the Head-Quarters of the most TECHNOLOGICALLY PROGRESSIVE RETAIL GIANT in South Africa. You will have the chance to MASTER APPLE MAC, WINDOWS DESKTOP AND ADOBE CS troubleshooting & support.
Coupled with a comprehensive benefits package (including bonuses and short & long-term incentives), this CAPE TOWN based DESKTOP SUPPORT ENGINEER position is offering a yearly salary of R240k – R300k.
As a DESKTOP SUPPORT ENGINEER, your day-to-day responsibilities require you to resolve any ADOBE CS, APPLE MAC, MICROSOFT WINDOWS & OFFICE issues and use your excellent communication skills to be able to TRAIN ALL MEMBERS OF THE BUSINESS AT ALL LEVELS ON NEW SOFTWARE PACKAGES either WORKING ALONE OR IN A TEAM

Tertiary education and relevant technology courses (MCSE, A+, Apple and Adobe courses will be an advantage)
3-5 years Desktop Support experience
Apple Mac and Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems experience (Windows XP, 7; MacOS Mavericks, El Capitan and Sierra)
Windows: MS-Office versions (Office 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013)
Mac: MS-Office 2016
WHAT YOU’LL MASTER:
Computer hardware and software troubleshooting skills
Computer Desktop Imaging
Apple Mac Operating System backup and install
Effective Management of IT hardware and environment
