Based in CAPE TOWN this DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANT role offers a salary of R600K - R660K/annum.

This is a specialist consultancy that crafts digital marketing capability for the largest global brands. A team of marketing technologists who understand how to ustilise technology innovation to improve customer experience – they underpin the success of the world’s biggest brands.

You will become an expert in DIGITAL MARKETING SOLUTIONS and take on a senior client-facing consultant role. This involves working on complex software projects, specification requirements, documentation, blueprints and client proposals.
The opportunity offers a chance to be the lead on custom engagements, gather client requirements and design technical solutions. You’ll work within a smart team of Technical Producers and Project Managers, engaging on Solution Design and Architecture; Scripting and Query development; Data mapping and extract strategies; Relational Data / Data Schema; Web Services and API development; Custom Reporting; Custom application development projects; HTML creation for webpages and emails; Webpage builds.
You’ll need to be able to leverage scripting languages to deliver highly dynamic and personalised content in both emails and landing pages (AMPScript and XSLT).
Other functions include responding to RFI / RFPs, and design solutions to enable client's business initiatives to be realised.
Ideally degree educated: computer science, computer technology, information systems. 
Experience with SQL and relational databases. 
Experience with programming languages (any amount of .NET/JAVA/PHP/JavaScript) 
Web Development experience (HTML, PGP/GPG, CSS, XML, Web Services, etc.) 
CRM Experience: understanding of CRM data models, database marketing, customer and product lifecycles.
Marketing Functional Experience: Direct Digital (Email, SMS, MMS & Push); CMS & Content arbitration/automation; Web Analytics; Social (Communities, Content & Content). 
API Programming experience. 
HTML for email creation experience and email. 
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or any other Marketing Cloud and Adobe Product Suite will be a plus.
