Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement the overall online strategy work for one of SA’s top PRIVATE UNIVERSITY GROUPS.


For over 20 years, this fully accredited PRIVATE UNIVERSITY has provided degree level education through their campuses in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Pretoria or via their online learning platform. With the continued rise in the demand for tertiary education services, the organization is in turn investing heavily in their tools and online presence to accommodate and service their ever-growing student base.


As the E-Learning Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and growth of the online campus as well as the formulation of the online strategy of the institution. This will entail leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team focused on ensuring the quality of the online students’ experience from a technical, support, administrative, educational environment and educational delivery perspective.

In addition to this, you will develop and monitor metrics and indicators of administrative, support, educator and student activity and performance through the implementation 

of student and educator feedback mechanisms.


  • Tertiary qualification in Management or Business Studies
  • Experience using quantitative metrics to drive performance
  • Experience in managing the operational delivery of online programmes
