Based in CAPE TOWN this FULL STACK DEVELOPER role is to join a Software Engineering Team of 10 highly skilled and experienced Open Source Developers.
Salary on offer is between R45K – R60K/month dependant on skills.

As a Full Stack Developer you will join a team who will help improve your Back End knowledge, specifically in GOLANG. You therefore must be committed to learning new skills.
In this role you will build future products/services and implement solutions in the present. You will work with the newest technologies and have the autonomy to create work without being micromanaged. Your voice will be valued in both internal projects as well as in customer facing products.
Development will include Platform, Web App, APIs and services.
You’ll also help grow the platform by actively participating in code reviews, pair programming, training and mentoring.
BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
6+ years experience with shipping production code in any of Go, Ruby, Python or PHP.
Proficient with web technologies and databases (NoSQL and RDBMS) and RESTful APIs.
Ability to think of business concerns beyond engineering and experiences working with cross-functional feature teams.
Passionate about pragmatic code design and strong desire to contribute to a small team.
Knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and/or micro-services architecture (MSA).
Good understanding of Linux and how to best harness it for performance.
Some networking experience (network programming, Work at an ISP, etc.).
