As Support Team Lead you will need to have extensive experience working within the hospitality industry & solid OPERA CLOUD SUPPORT experience in order to provide world class services to properties across 6 continents.
This Global Support Team Lead position is Cape Town, CBD based (with the opportunity to travel to international sites) and is paying R650k/annum (negotiable depending on experience).

As Global Support Team Lead you will be responsible for managing a team of Support Engineers, while working closely with the IT departments across the globe. You will need to provide technical support for the company’s Oracle Opera PMS and cloud systems on a global level. You will also need to have extensive knowledge of networking, messaging platforms, IT security, database management and wireless techs. As Team Lead you will be based in one of the company’s hotels in Cape Town but will occasionally get the opportunity to travel abroad and support prestigious sites around the world.
• Relevant Tertiary Education – MCSE, ITIL V3, A+ and N+
• 5+ years experience within hospitality IT Management
• Team Lead Technical Support experience
• Opera PMS 5.5 and Cloud Services experience - MS Azure, Symphony Cloud
• Networking experience – TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS etc.
• Windows OS
• Active Directory
• Scripting Experience - PowerShell
• IT Security (Firewalls)
• G Suite cloud experience
• Voice systems (Cisco, Avaya, Mitel)
• MS SQL server & Oracle databases
• Wireless Tech experience
