This is an exciting opportunity for an HR Manager, with experience working within a startup environment, to join a rapidly growing fintech organization to set up all things related to HR and Recruitment for the business.
This HR Manager role is based in Cape Town (not CBD) and paying circa R50Kctc / month.
An ethical fintech company focused on reducing money transfer costs for African migrants who are sending money home. In addition to having all the bells and whistles of your average fintech start-up (great offices, free lunch daily, flexible working hours…), what underpins this company is its primary objective to use technology to make the world a better place and the desire to work with like-minded people to achieve this.
As the HR Manager for this rapidly growing business you will define, develop and implement the HR policy and strategy for the organisation. You will work closely with team leaders and executives on recruitment requirements and develop an onboarding experience for newly hired employees. You will implement, review and analyze performance improvement programs; provide guidance on any HR issues; ensuring compliance to labour legislation and assisting with disciplinary hearings, as required. You will use metrics, analysis and reporting to make decisions for the business and ensure that management is always informed.
- 5+ years’ HR Management experience
- Experience working within a rapidly-growing startup / business
- Solid knowledge of HR principles, practices
- Extensive knowledge of Labour Legislation
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership and negotiation skills
