SALARY: 30,000 EUR - 40,000 EUR + paid flights + 1st month accommodation assistance.
International Software Engineering and Development Specialists in web, mobile & communication solutions for the GLOBAL AIRLINE INDUSTRY. This company builds and provides the most current and widely used Software Solutions for booking flights online, e-commerce, airport check-in, mobile and communication solutions for the airline and travel industry.
The company has offices in Germany, Croatia, UK, USA and Australia. You will have the opportunity to travel.
As a JAVA DEVELOPER – you will work across the full development lifecycle using Agile methodologies and the latest technologies – e.g. the team are developing Continuous Integration strategy, recently introducing Consul for configuration changes, Jenkins for automation & Liquibase for database versioning. Working with high throughput MQ solutions to asynchronous processing.
MAIN TASKS of the position include: Designing, developing, and maintaining complex, dynamic applications; Analysis of business requirements; Supporting the deployment of systems and diagnosis of problems; Interaction with project managers; Close collaboration with worldwide development team.
CAREER PROGRESSION for you can be either pure development or technical management/architecture. For example, you can work towards becoming Product Lead or you can choose to focus instead on Developer Management.

High proficiency in Java, including latest Java functional additions (lambdas).
Experience with the Spring framework and Spring Boot.
Experience with Hibernate/JPA
Experience with messaging technologies and concepts (JMS, Kafka or similar).
Experience with integration technologies (integration patterns and libraries like Apache Camel)
Experience in creating and consuming remote APIs (SOAP, RESTful)
Familiarity with basic developers' toolset (Eclipse, Maven, Mercurial or Git)
Knowledge of advanced SQL and familiarity with MySQL
Familiarity with Linux and every-day experience with working in the Unix shell
Experience in designing/implementing systems based on modular/decoupled architectures
Familiarity with distributed/non-linear software development workflows (branching strategies, releases, etc.)
Familiarity with post-development practices (CI, CD).
