This is an excellent opportunity for a LEAD DEVELOPER / TECHNICAL LEAD to join a fast growing Digital Marketing & Digital Communications Company, and to grow into the position of CTO.
Based in CAPE TOWN this Led Developer become CTO role offers a salary of R900K – R1M/annum.
A Digital Marketing business which has been operating for 5 years. They are a Digital Communications & Marketing Tech Company, who specialise in building communication strategies for businesses, ranging from marketing, customer engagement to full scale telecommunications. They use lead generation, data management as well as AVM, SMS and Cloud PBX platforms to create communication strategies for leading businesses. Core specialisation is in automated communications, automated voice messages, lead generation for call centres and debt collection.
The business currently employs 12 people comprised of operational and commercial employees. Development is currently outsourced and the plan medium-term is to bring some of those functions back internally. As part of the role you will manage the outsourced relationships and ultimately bring those expertise inhouse.
As the Technical Lead you will manage all aspects of the company’s technology, technical staff and outsourced partners.
The position will escalate into a CTO role in very quick time, where you’ll then also look at long-term technology requirements, roadmaps, innovations in the tech stack and the relevant recruitment of technical staff required. As mentioned, the development functions currently are outsourced, and the pan medium term is to bring those skills inhouse.
A background in Java Development will be a strong advantage.
A keen desire to change function from a Tech Lead into a CTO role.
Strong Systems Integration experience.
Ability to establish IT services frameworks and IT security policies.
Strong Project Management skills.
Ability to lead, manage and recruit.
