Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an OPEN SOURCE FULL STACK WEB DEVELOPER to gain GOOGLE GO experience working with a small, highly experienced SOFTWARE ENGINEERING Team. You will be responsible for developing solutions & new features for this platform. You will gain expertise in Google GO, JS and Python. 
This OPEN FULL STACK WEB DEVELOPER position is CAPE TOWN (SOUTHERN SUBURBS) based and is paying R680K - R720K/annum. 
As a Full Stack Developer, you will get exposure to Google GO & the latest open source technologies & YOU will take the lead, developing new features for the future platform, including web, UI, API integration and services. Working with the latest technologies you will assist with the current web app as well as take ownership of executing plans to develop the framework to a client side solution. 
With operations in South Africa and Australia this innovative Software Engineering Company is an open source development specialist focused on advanced solutions for Juniper ecosystems - they are a Juniper Technology Partner. They have developed a cloud-based network management platform which provides a simple way for Global Enterprises to manage their environments.  The company employs a team of exceptional Open Source Software Engineers, specialists in Google GO (Golang), Python, Ruby, C, C++, PHP and JS. 
You will receive extensive training in all of these technologies and programming languages. 
BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience. 
Open source development experience - in any of JS, Go, Ruby, Python or PHP. 
Good understanding of web technologies and how to best harness them for performance. 
Proficient with databases (NoSQL and RDBMS) and RESTful APIs. 
Passionate about pragmatic code design and strong desire to contribute to a small team. 
Knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and/or micro-services architecture (MSA). 
Good understanding of Linux.
