I’m recruiting for a POLYGLOT DEVELOPER, someone who is passionate about Open Source, Collaborative, interested in SaaS and Multi-Cloud development, and able to take on a Fullstack development role.

The position is based in CAPE TOWN. It offers a salary of R550K-R720K/annum. Flexible and remote working is on offer too.

With an exceptional Software Engineering team, this global business provides and develops Multi-Cloud Open Source Platform, Web App, APIs and Services which solve the most complex enterprise management environments. A certified partner of one of the largest technology vendors, this role will expose you to best practice in the latest software development technologies.

You’ll join a very happy team and work on development of New Features of the Cloud Platform. Your day-to-day will be variable and expose you to the full SDLC and will be balanced by the chance to become expert in Golang, Ruby, Python and PHP on frameworks like Vue, Node, React, Angular.

At least 5 years experience developing in any Open Source language.
Computer Science, or similar education.
Proficient with Web Technologies and databases (NoSQL and RDBMS) and RESTful APIs.
Ability to think of business concerns beyond engineering.
Passionate about pragmatic code design.
Knowledge of SOA and/or MSA.
Good understanding of Linux.
