This is a great opportunity for a RETAIL MARKETING MANAGER to join the most exciting and fastest growing E-tailer / E-Commerce business and drive Retail Categories expansion and sales. This role requires a passionate Marketing Manager, with experience in Digital, Multi-channel B2C Marketing and Retail.

Based in CAPE TOWN this RETAIL MARKETING MANAGER role offers a salary of R600K – R720K/annum.

With an exceptional brand name, they have the widest range of products and the best customer service. As such they are growing rapidly and now need a superstar MARKETING MANAGER to join the team.

Reporting to the Head of Retail Marketing you will take charge of driving marketing genius across a range of online departments/categories. This involves delivering across all marketing channels – online, digital, paid, email, mobile. Along with implementing Marketing Plans, you will be the bridge between Marketing & Retail, you’ll support buyers and suppliers and constantly be challenged with marketing out brands/products which consumers expect from such a premier company. Your retail-based marketing campaigns will drive website sales and entice new buyers. You will be current and sensitive to consumer demands and able to identify hot up and coming product releases and other product based marketing opportunities. Another component will be building relationships with suppliers, their marketing teams and advertising agencies to identify strong co-branding and cooperative marketing opportunities. 
Experience in define and implementing ongoing promotion and marketing plan of daily deals and app only deals is required.

Retail Product-based Marketing experience (across all marketing channels) is required.
You’ll be a strong relationship builder, experienced marketer with solid digital experience, very strategic, good negotiator (you will have commercial revenue targets), be able to hold your own in supplier meetings, energetic, love to be challenged, want to work in an extremely dynamic organization surrounded by loads of smart people.
A strong strategic thinker with an ability to craft marketing plans to build department sales.
Passionate about driving sales revenue through retail marketing initiatives including - onsite sales, product launches, co-marketing opportunities with suppliers, event and sponsorship marketing.
An inquisitive mind with a passion for data - be highly analytical, using data to inform decisions.
An understanding of e-commerce and the key levers that drive sales in an e-commerce environment.
Creative mindset - be able to craft numerous campaigns across many departments.
eCommerce marketing experience.
Degree in business, marketing or communications.
At least 6 years retail and marketing experience.
Experience working across marketing channels.
Experience in an e-commerce environment.
