Based in CAPE TOWN, this Snr. DATA ANALYST role offers a salary of R700K – R750K/annum + benefits.

As Snr. DATA ANALYST you will join a team of 17 Analysts providing ad-hoc analytics to the Head of Customer, Digital, Product Development, Operations and Credit Management teams.
The role reports into the HEAD OF DIGITAL MARKETING.
The objective of your analytics work will be to improve decisioning, drive sales and targets through focussed attention on customers.
The role is both hands-on and client-facing – an ability to tell a story through data is therefore absolutely essential.
Progression in this role will hinge around exploring innovative DIGITAL SOLUTIONS and ultimately becoming a Senior Member of the overall Customer Engagement initiatives.
Degree educated in a numerical discipline – could be Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.
At least 3 years experience as a DATA ANALYST working with large volumes of consumer data.
Knowledge of Credit Life Cycle or Retail Analytics environment.
Experience in analytical methodologies and programmes for statistical analysis and manipulation of very large data sets.
Technical skills: SAS, SQL, R or Advanced programming for statistical analysis and manipulation of data sets.
