Based in CAPE TOWN this SOFTWARE ENGINEER role offers a salary of R660K-R720K/annum. (More junior candidates will also be considered).
This Software Engineer position is with a company (and team of 12 developers) who are developing an innovative Cloud Platform which enables the remote management of Enterprise Network environments - - think Cisco solutions…and this company is competing directly with them. The company already has an impressive client base globally and their growth is pretty impressive.
In this Software Engineering role you will work on new features and functionality of the platform – in essence a Fullstack role.

Computer Science degree, or equivalent experience.
Solid coding skills in any language e.g. Go, Ruby, Python or PHP.
Proficient with web technologies and databases (NoSQL and RDBMS) and RESTful APIs.
Ability to think of business concerns beyond engineering and experiences working with cross-functional feature teams.
Passionate about pragmatic code design and strong desire to contribute to a small team.
Knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and/or micro-services architecture (MSA).
Good understanding of Linux and how to best harness it for performance.
Some networking experience (network programming, Work at an ISP, etc.).
