This role is a HIGHLY LUCRATIVE OPPORTUNITY to SELL BANKING SYSTEMS with a STRONG VALUE PROPOSITION into FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS in fast growing Sub-Saharan African market. You will be backed by one of the strongest brands in banking technology and will work with AWARD WINNING SALES PROCESSES and methodologies.
This position is Sandton, Johannesburg based and is paying R1,4mil/annum CTC + OTE (Travel will be required)
They are a GLOBAL FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGY GIANT with a well developed product offering and a HIGHLY RESPECTED BRAND in the African market. Over the past few years, they have tripled in size in SA, and are expecting continued & sustained growth for the foreseeable future.
Your focus will be HUNTING FOR NEW BUSINESS IN SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA, selling banking technology into LARGE FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS. You will need to have strong product knowledge and competitive intelligence in order to introduce new products to the market. The product offering you will be selling includes buy-side software solutions for HEDGE FUNDS, PRIVATE EQUITY FIRMS & ASSET MANAGERS. Your specific duties will include developing sales plans and strategies, identifying & contacting new prospects, proposal preparation, and negotiation & closing multimillion dollar sales.
• Relevant Tertiary Qualification
• Proven Track Record in Software / Application Sales
• Previous Experience Selling into Financial Institutions
• Willingness to travel regularly in Sub-Saharan Africa
• Strong Knowledge of Financial Markets / Banking Operations
• Extroverted & Goal Driven “Sales Personality”
