Excellent opportunity for an experienced BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to join a NEW LISP INVESTMENT PLATFORM BUSINESS that has recently been established by a Multi-National Asset Manager. You will play a key part in marketing these Industry first Offshore and Onshore Investment products, while managing and developing a portfolio of IFA’s and Wealth Managers. You will also be responsible for designing and driving the overall DISTRIBUTION & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY, communicating the STRATEGY into the market and cementing this INVESTMENT (LISP) PLATFORM as an industry favourite.
Based in Cape Town this BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER role is paying R650K/annum + QUARTERLY and ANNUAL commission incentives, Cell & 3G Allowance, Entertainment Allowance as well as Travel Reimbursements.
This business has a highly impressive Offshore & Onshore proposition which is supported by elegant & intelligent technology, continuous processing as well LEADERS that are known for driving through transformation in the Investment Industry. • Post Grad in Financial Planning/CFP
• Experience in developing leads & prospects in a sales environment within the Investment industry.
• Excellent Investment product technical knowledge - In-depth understanding of investment components, product licenses, tax, fiduciary etc.
• Strong knowledge of the advisory market.
• Understanding of all investment products both local & international.
• Exceptional Client Relationship skills - experience dealing with Wealth Managers.
